Barry named 2018 Commander of the Louisiana Commandery of the Military Order of Foreign Wars.

The Louisiana Commandery of the Military Order of Foreign Wars' annual dinner, held on Thursday, November 16th 2017 at New Orleans Country Club, serves as a reunion for those who served as officers in our nation's armed forces in time of war. At the event, Deutsch Kerrigan LLP partner Frank Barry was installed as the Commander of the Louisiana Commandery of the Military Order of Foreign Wars for the year 2018.

Frank Barry is an experienced maritime and energy attorney with successes involving maritime property damage, marine insurance indemnity and coverage claims. Frank also has achieved successful outcomes in insurance broker E&O claims, and in oil and gas claims, such as Legacy Oil, on shore blowouts, and operating agreement litigation. He is currently the President/Chairman of the Admiralty Law Institute at Tulane University, after serving for many years as Chairman of the Program Committee for that CLE program.
