Michael T. Amy works alongside businesses and insurers in the marine and energy industry.
His interest in the open water drives Mr. Amy's passion for maritime litigation. Mr. Amy is a maritime attorney who takes pride in instilling confidence and providing reassuring guidance to his maritime clients.
Mr. Amy attended Tulane University Law School where he earned a Master of Laws in Admiralty, with Distinction. During his time at Tulane Law, received two CALI Excellence For The Future Awards in recognition for obtaining the highest grade in Admiralty: Regulation of Shipping and Admiralty: Vessel Documentation & Finance. He was also selected to serve as a member of the Tulane Maritime Law Journal, and was chosen as the winner of the 2015 Maynard Cooper & Gale Admiralty Writing Competition.
Mr. Amy earned his Bachelor of Science in Management from the E. J. Ourso College of Business at Louisiana State University before going on to receive his Juris Doctor from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law.
