Stephen B. Simpson has over twenty eight years of experience practicing law on the Mississippi Gulf Coast defending civil litigation, premises liability, and personal injury claims.
Through years of experience, Mr. Simpson served as a Circuit Court judge for eight years presiding as a trial court judge over all civil, mass tort, and felony criminal cases. He has extensive experience in both State and Federal courts and currently presides over criminal and civil cases throughout the entire state of Mississippi as a Sr. Status Judge.
Mr. Simpson provides arbitration and mediation services and is on the Mississippi State Bar Association’s approved list of mediators and is a member of the Academy of Court Appointed Masters and the Association of Attorney-Mediators. He provides Umpire services for Appraisal under the Policy claims. Mr. Simpson formerly served as the President of the Mississippi Prosecutors’ Association and the Chairman of the Mississippi Conference of Circuit Court Judges.
Mr. Simpson volunteers his time as a professor at William Carey University in the Criminal Justice department.
