In his diverse litigation practice, Jason has extensive experience in property and casualty litigation, including wrongful death and asbestos exposure.
Jason also defends clients in Jones Act and Worker’s Compensation lawsuits and engages in coverage analysis/disputes for clients.
From settlement evaluation to motion practice to pre-trial preparation, Jason strives to achieve optimal results for clients, and his approach has garnered him several litigation achievements. In the wake of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita in Louisiana, and Ike in Texas, Jason litigated and resolved several hundred claims for multiple insurance clients. He has attained successful outcomes in multiple civil jury trials. Jason has obtained a zero verdict in a $2 million wrongful death case and was part of the trial team that recently obtained a zero verdict in a living mesothelioma case in Orleans Parish where the plaintiff was seeking $15 million in damages. Jason has also argued a case of first impression before the Louisiana Fourth Circuit Court of Appeal.
Jason is also a Certified Mediator under the Louisiana Mediation Act in Civil, Commercial, and Employment Mediation.
