She is a Partner in Deutsch Kerrigan's New Orleans office, practicing in the areas of civil litigation, trucking and transportation, premises liability, and personal injury and also maintains an active commercial collections practice assisting businesses in pursuit of collections on open accounts. Cassie is known for advocating zealously and professionally on behalf of her clients while working with clients to achieve mutual goals.
Cassie received her juris doctorate from Loyola University College of Law in May 2010. While in law school, she served on the Moot Court Executive Board, St. Thomas More Inns of Courts, and as a teaching assistant to Professor Patrick Hugg and Dane Ciolino. Immediately following law school, Cassie clerked for the Honorable Judge Edwin Lombard at the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals before entering private practice.
Cassie is actively involved in several community and charitable organizations throughout the city. Cassie is on the Executive Board for the New Orleans Bar Association Young Lawyers Section and is the Social Events Co-Chair for the organization. She is also an active member of the St. Thomas More Inns of Court and the Association of Women Attorneys. She volunteers with The Good Shepherd School, which provides a higher quality of education to at-risk children in the Greater New Orleans Area, where she leads the school’s fall fundraising efforts, and in the past she served as the Auction Co-Chair and Gala Co-Chair two years in a row. In 2014, Cassie was selected as a Spotlight on Success Honoree by the March of Dimes. In 2012, she received the Volunteer Spotlight for Outstanding Service from the Girls Hope of Greater New Orleans. She also volunteers her time organizing and planning the Bad to the Bone: Rescued on the Runway fundraiser benefiting animal rescue groups.
