Medical Causation Defense - Automobile - Craige v. Grundmann, et al

In 2009, Mr. Glas served as lead trial counsel for a national insurance company in the personal injury action entitled Craige v. Grundmann, et al, No. 06-12739, Division H, Civil District Court, Parish of Orleans, LA. During the (damages only) jury trial, Mr. Glas defended the insured against claims the car accident caused plaintiff's paralysis. The trial ended with a hung jury (7-5), with the jurors unable to agree on whether paralysis was cased by trauma or by an unrelated medical condition.
