Jennifer E. Adams represents clients in toxic tort litigation, with a particular emphasis on cases involving asbestos, benzene, silica, and PFAS. In addition to sitting on the management committee of the Firm, Jennifer is the chair of the Toxic Tort and Environmental Department at Deutsch Kerrigan and has successfully litigated thousands of occupational exposure claims in state and federal courts.
Jennifer’s love of triaging complex cases, from cancer claims related to alleged asbestos exposure in the workplace to "take-home" exposure claims, motivates her to protect her clients’ interests in civil litigation. As a naturally gifted communicator, she also takes a forward-thinking approach to achieving favorable outcomes for her clients in difficult, but sometimes necessary, negotiations. Her love of the law started when she competed in mock trial tournaments in high school.
Jennifer is a frequent speaker on toxic tort litigation at national conferences, including the Defense Research Institute (DRI), Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel, Perrin Conferences and the American Conference Institute’s National Advanced Forum. She leads discussions and panels covering the latest trends in asbestos litigation, benzene, products liability, workplace exposures, PFAS, and talcum powder issues. She is a native New Orleanian who loves photography, spending time with her family, and being at the beach.
