Mr. Quinlivan represented an estate heir in the Chancery Court of Pearl River County, Mississippi, challenging the appointment of the executrix of the estate who had covered up the misappropriation of funds by her daughter. On the morning of trial, a settlement was reached in which the executrix returned all of the misappropriated funds. Additionally, the chancellor awarded attorney’s fees associated with discovering and investigating the misappropriation.
