Brendan received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Notre Dame Law School. There he was awarded the Rice-Murphy Fellowship for scholarship in the field of Bioethics and was involved in the St. Thomas More Society.  He was a law clerk for the Louisiana Department of Justice (Officer of the Solicitor General) where he worked on civil and criminal appellate matters.
