A casino guest brought a personal injury action surrounding an injury to his knee when he stepped in a hole on the casino premises. Plaintiffs wife also sought damages for loss of consortium. The pretrial settlement demand was over $100,000.00. The defendant had paid all the Plaintiffs medicals bills, admitted liability and after a jury trial, an award of $5,000.00 was made to the Plaintiff.
